Hello, friends! It's me, Journey Bear, and I have some big news—I'm about to embark on my very first grand adventure! But before I pack my tiny suitcase, I want to tell you all about the wonderful home where my journey began.
I live in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with my best friends—Renee, who is four years old and full of energy, and Ruby, who is about to celebrate her very first birthday! Their family welcomed me with open paws, and we’ve had so many fun adventures together.

One of our favorite places to visit is the YMCA Sports Center. Oh, what a place! There were big foam blocks that we stacked into towers (and then knocked down with a mighty bear roar—RAWR!). We zoomed through an obstacle course, jumping, crawling, and balancing like champions.

But do you know what really caught my eye? A wall covered in flags from all over the world! Each one represented a different place, a new adventure waiting to happen. That’s when the idea struck me—what if I explored the world and told everyone all about it? Oh, the possibilities!

We also visited the amazing Children’s Museum, where our imaginations ran wild! Renee and I climbed aboard a pretend boat and set sail for an imaginary island (we had to watch out for sea monsters, of course). Then, it was time for a very fancy tea party with Ruby—pinkies up, everyone!

And just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, Renee whisked me away to the coolest rocket ship slide. Whee! I may be a bear, but I think I have a future in space travel.

A few days later, we took a big trip to the Mall of America in Minneapolis with Renee’s friend, Viola. Oh, what a place! First, we played at the Paw Patrol playground, where we climbed, slid, and rescued the day (just like the pups!).

Then came the most thrilling part—an amusement park ride called Flying with Appa! Whoosh! We soared through the air like real adventurers.

But the best part? The aquarium! It had a long tunnel where giant fish swam right over our heads. There were graceful stingrays, dazzling colorful fish, and even some sharks! I’ll admit, the sharks were a little scary, but I put on my bravest bear face. If I’m going to explore the world, I have to be ready for anything!

And now, my biggest adventure yet is about to begin! Before leaving, I got to celebrate Ruby’s first birthday. There was cake, balloons, and lots of laughter. I know I’m going to miss my family so much, but I also know that we’ll stay in touch—and I can’t wait to share my travels with them (and with you, too!).

So, with a heart full of excitement and a backpack full of memories, I’m off! Where will I go first? What new friends will I meet? I can’t wait to find out! Stay tuned, because Journey Bear’s grand adventure is just beginning!
Until next time—hugs and high paws!
Love, Journey Bear
